Meghan 
O'Hara

Dr. Meghan O'Hara has been practicing physical therapy in the Triangle since 2016. She found her passion for merging pelvic health and athletics while at Duke, and is thrilled to serve the downtown Raleigh community. 

​

Meghan is a lifelong equestrian, runner, and tennis player. She understands the demands of a variety of sports, and recognizes the importance both physically and mentally of being able to do the things you love without pain. 

​

Meghan is deeply passionate about awareness for pelvic health conditions and providing exceptional, personalized treatments for pelvic health.  She holds two specialty certifications, and practices in a holistic manner with a focus on manual therapy combined with exercise. Her treatments are diverse, and often include trigger point dry needling, massage techniques, taping, cupping, gua sha, and exercise.  

  • BA in Human Biology - Stanford University

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy - Duke University

  • Certification in Pelvic Rehabilitation - Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute 

  • Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist - Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatments

Momentum Physiotherapy

Momentum Physiotherapy was born out of a pressing need to bring high quality, patient centered pelvic health services to the downtown Raleigh area. 

We provide highly skilled, specialized physical therapy services in pelvic health and orthopedics. 

 

At Momentum Physiotherapy:

  • you will work one on one with your physical therapist for your entire appointment session

  • you will be treated in a private setting

  • we will work as a team to develop goals for your health

  • we think outside the box

  • we have a great time at PT!

Momentum Physiotherapy and Wellness does not contract with insurance companies. As an out of network provider, we are able to provide exceptional, personal, and individualized care, with one on one appointments and no surprise bills. We will provide detailed receipts called 'superbills' that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement after service. 

 

We are a direct access provider and do not require a referral prior to treatment. ​
